Fontology is a flash based interactive website, which provides background stories and basic informaiton of fonts. It tells the history of the development of typefaces, enables users to compare different typefaces, and provides brief guidelines of choosing and using fonts.

Typography Animation

This video is a 30-minute animation created in After Effects. The purpose of this video is to combine typography design with motion graphic and sound.
Chinese calligraphy
Flash + Photoshop
This is an animation, to show the beauty of Chinese calligraphy. The project tries to show the historical changes of calligraphy, from image to character, from complex character to simplified one.

This project is a typography poster. The aim of the project is to get familiar with Font, Family, Style, Anatomy of Type, and Typographic Composition.
Color Theory - Mandala
Gouache
This is a color design for a Mandala pattern. The value pattern and temperature use emphasizes the focal point as first read and subsequently allows the eye to travel through design from the middle to the outer areas.

It is a group project for the Principles of Usability class. The research we did for the site includes affinity diagram, persona research, storyboard for user scenarios, paper prototype, user testing, and final digital prototype and user concept journey.
